DTV Presents Local and Regional Projects and Initiatives Update on Efforts to Mitigate Flooding at Citizens for a New Louisiana Member Lunch in Lafayette Friday:
Friday, May 28th, our Lafayette location at 100 E Vermilion St Ste 150 will host Dave Dixon, President of the local non-profit, Dredge the Vermilion. This organization has been focused on fixing Acadiana’s flooding problems since the unnamed storm event of 2016. He’ll provide an update on progress in various projects they’ve identified to reduce flooding in the area. Dave will also touch on Josh Guillory’s recent emergency declaration to address this issue.
