DTV appointed a new Board Member, Chris Gros, PE. Chris is a retired professional civilย  engineer. He retired at executive level technical staff at Chevron USA. He will bring 40+ years of experience to our board in an important discipline when understanding and dealing with flood management.

Chris has been aย  resident of the area for most of his career bringing familiarity with the current drainage problems in the watershed .

DTV is proud to have Chris as a member of our Board.ย  We look forward to his participation in our efforts to identify regional drainage projects needed in the watershed to reduce the risk of major flooding such as was experienced in August 2016.

Dredge the Vermilion (DTV) is a non-profit setup to inform the public about the need to identify and to perform regional drainage projects in the Teche-Vermilion watershed.
The board of DTV are all citizen volunteers with varying backgrounds from engineering, business owners, business management, medical, and legal.
